Our Team

Partner/VP/Senior Event Planner
Dana Twaddell
Born and raised in New Jersey, Dana has been an integral part of Sage Catering since the early days. She began her journey as a bartender and server and quickly advanced to full-time event planner. In 2021, she became a partner in the company—a reflection of her dedication, creativity, and leadership.

With a degree in interior design and over a decade of experience in the field, she brings a trained eye and refined aesthetic to every event. Her seamless transition into catering was fueled by a passion for thoughtful presentation and custom menu design, always with the guest experience at the center.

Known for her quick wit, calm under pressure, and an infectious laugh that has become something of a Sage signature, she’s a driving force behind the scenes—and when she’s not planning events, she’s likely enjoying a well-earned spicy margarita.

Senior Event Planner
Cortney Epstein
Cortney joined Sage Catering in 2016 as a server and quickly proved she was more than capable of running the show. Within just two years, she stepped into a full-time event planning role and hasn’t looked back since. Known for her impeccable organization and calm command of even the most complex timelines, Cortney is beloved by both clients and industry partners alike.

She originally studied accounting—so yes, she can run your numbers—but don’t let the math fool you. Her creative instincts are just as sharp, making her a rare mix of precision and style. If the event has great music, there’s a good chance you’ll find her dancing—whether it’s in the back of the house or alongside the dance floor.

Her drink of choice? An espresso martini, of course because she’s sharp, stylish, and always a step ahead.

Senior Event Planner
Amanda Grasso
Amanda joined Sage Catering in 2021, right in the thick of one of the most intense periods the event industry has ever seen—and she never missed a beat. Thrown into the deep end, she rose to the challenge with calm confidence and immediately proved her strength under pressure.

With a sharp creative edge and a serious eye for detail, Amanda ensures that nothing leaves her hands unless it’s flawless. She’s especially passionate about branding and the visual storytelling that brings each event to life.

When she’s not curating unforgettable experiences, you’ll find Amanda nurturing her ever-growing collection of houseplants or flowing through a yoga session—always with the same thoughtful attention she brings to every event.
